Going to weigh my, by now "super-dry" 0.5m3 billet bundles.

Got 6 sitting on rails up out of the wet.

So who wants to take a punt on likely weight/weights? therin.

Also going to measure the volume of wood contained within the 0.5m3 billet bundles by water displacment:001_rolleyes:

THEN I WILL KNOW

something, not quite sure what? but hey:lol::lol:

I just ordered a 300kg LoadLink Lite "crane scale", so gotta play with my new toy

Just remember I intended to source a "mid range" moisture meter.

About £50.00 ish

Then I will "know" :001_rolleyes:even more

6 No. bundles @ 145kg, 150kg, 160kg, 165kg, 185kg and 185kg

Ave 165kg

= 330kg/m3 for split and billeted Lodgepole Pine.

Guessing 20-25% m/c

Still waiting for me moisture meter.

And still need to "dunk" for displaced volume.

Just need a big enough tank.
