Have you ever had a flatbed truck converted to an arb spec tipper? if so how much did it cost? is it a big project or fairly straight forward :confused1:

Lots of people do it.

My truck was bought as a a chassis cab by the previous owner who then had an ally tipper and tool box made as an exact fit. it looks really professional and, I believe, was cheaper than buying a ready made complete van.

 

If you look at the prices chassis cabs go for you would be left with a few grand to have a custom-built back before you exceed the pre-built budget. Plus you get exactly the configuration that suits you.

That's what am thinking, not so many tippers in decent condition and they cost a lot more than flatbed ones. Atleast i could have 1 built to exact spec
