Does eucy make good planks?

I've not milled any signifiant amounts, but have had mixed results. I had one

that milled nicely and produced some decent boards, and the other twisted and split as it came off the mill....suck it and see i reckon. The mill coped alright.

Tommer we have 5 sections of straight oak of between 12 and 16ft. DBH is about 30" and good quality. Will need dragging out unless you can set up in the wood (its on the edge). Or we can sell in the round if your man can transport. pm me to Let me know what u think.

Nitens(Shining Gum) are commonly grown for pulp or coppice firewood.Does that tell you anything?.Eucs generally require quartersawing.I have seen Nitens radially sawn and left attached to the heart of the log to season before being released for use as weatherboards.Hope that helps.
