May possibly decide to sell my 076, It's had new piston rings not because they were damaged just decided to put fresh ones in, new gaskets and it will need an exhaust. It is fitted with a stihl rollomatic 36" bar and oregon full chisel chain both only used once, any give me a fair idea of the Value ?

Thanks in advance

Depends, theres definetly a market for them but the price fluctuates dramatically. At the end of the day it could make £200 on ebay this week and £350 next week if 2 people want the same saw.

I would definetly sit on it if you cant make the £250+ mark tho and its in good order and not a converted 051 (ie it has the extra oil plunger to add extra oiling to the bar) . Chainbrake models command a little more if your lucky enough to have 1 fitted?

It's not an 051 converted engine (has the manual oil pump) and has a chain brake also, will be sad to see it go but what's the point of it sitting in the shed? I have an 064 if needs be :) not quite the same but even that is rare to leave the shed haha

I sold my nice 076 super for $350 and was happy to see that boat anchor go. They go between $300-$700 here in the states. They make a decent mill saw I'm told, but very disappointing in power for their size compared with almost every other big saw of their era out there.
