I'm feeling like I'm being stalked:lol: No worries Rob, it wasn't a dig:001_tt2: it just reminded me as I've a few out with different people. I was half and half about bidding on it myself and either keeping it and giving you my copy or donating it to Tony's lending library. Is that still going?

 

The cost of some of these books are prohibitive, its a major obstacle to anyone wanting to become more educated.

Agreed a very unfortunate situation that needs to be resolved, some how, ive done a little but im still pondering it.

Ive a box (more like ten weighing in at a floorboard bending and ridiculous amount) to get sold off, I am sure there is a copy of Butins there i dont need, when I get to them i will dig it out and let you have it on the condition that when you have learned past it youll pass it on to somebody else who can benifit from its wisdom.

I bought Butin's diseases of forest and park trees and find it an excellent reference, especially coupled with his colour atlas of woody plant diseases. The two books set me back 90 euros together, but they're worth it. Not sure if they come in english though, mine are in German. Check out Krankheiten der Wald- und Parkbaume and Farbatlas Geholzkrankheiten.
