For ascents without hazards- bees, hangers etc it's a real quick access system for sure bro. I just don't like that your stuck in that system with no quick way of exiting if you had too. I watched my anchor point start snapping out a few years ago as I was ascending, stopped and tried to down climb on croll n hand ascender but was painfully slow. Then the anchor point totally snapped out. On a RW I could of just bailed out no issue..

hey drew, should i be using a steel crab for the pinto set up? i'm still only fresh to srt, had started playing with it but now on a contract that has me on spikes all day long! the one thing i was trying to figure out was how to choke my top tip having ascended on a base tie, the pinto set up looks perfect:)
