youtube taking music from videos

Just putting together a video but I am expecting youtube to take the music off once i download it, how do I get around this?

 

Any help appreciated.

its an odd one this Barry. I submitted a few videos several years ago that youtube removed the soundtrack from, then bizarrely a couple years ago the soundtracks were back again. I really dont know the criteria

Thanks Steve, i know if they remove the music then everything goes even the original audio, i will upload to facebook first and see if they do anything.

When you upload it, it detects the music and advises you on which countries the video will not play in. However uploading with a new soundtrack each time is very time consuming!

Barry, you could just FTP it onto your own website

Yeah think I'll go down the route of the website once I can get iMovie to let me export it! Nothing's easy these days... Cheers fellas for the info.

No it's music from UK bands, I've hear vimeo isn't too bad for allowing music so I'll try that aswell.

if your thinking of a song best thing is to search it on youtube to see its restricted. Easy as that.

Probably removed on copyright grounds. Best be careful if you are using images or music without permission or a licence, especially when it's for business/corporate use. Could land yourself with a hefty bill! Cheers, steve
