Biomass Chipper to suit 150-200hp Tractor?

Not wanting something as productive as 300hp+ machines but chip quality is the

prime issue.

 

Any recommendations?

edit: to produce G25&35 chip from roundwood (not brash).

Heizohack but you will probably need to get screens made for 25 and 35. I think mine are standard screens at 30 and 50.

Hi we have a Kesla 6450 and it produces good chips for biomass.We chip for quite a few customers with different makes of boilers who have had no problems but most are G50. The chipper has been very reliable and well built

I'm surprised G50 is as desirable as G30; thought it was too coarse for many augers and with 100mm, stray 200mm shards were a real risk..?

My TP960 chipper produces a nice chip and is very adjustable, Runs OK at 100hp.

 

I also have seen a damaged repairable TP280 recently.

Hi just looked at fuelwood web page ex demo heizohack £63000.00 or small one

£19000.00 I havent seen any secondhand yet.Try looking for a Laimet screw type much quieter and realy good chip.I have one but I do not know if I want to sell .

My friend hires in two different companies to chip for him, both use Heizorhacks and both are brand new. The quality is not great from either with about 25% dust from one and 20% oversize from the other. The only chipper he has been impressed with was a Starchl but price was around £95,000.

 

G30 and G50 are the normal grades he supplies.
