Hi

Really odd request

Does anybody near me happen to have a bee or wasp nest.I have this bright idea to set one in clear casting resin and then turn it on a lathe

I know its a long shot but I knew where there was one but somebody had it away before I got back to it

It might not work but I can try it

Look at this pic it gives the idea of what I am trying to do only using wasp nest instead of burr

If you where nearer you could have a wasp nest in our loft which we killed off last year. We retained it as there is an old wives tale that wasps will not build another nest within a certain distance of an existing nest.

That distance is about 6 inches. :(

My loft is proof of that.
