The exposed area around the ear is kinda odd.

 

the whole helmet is odd, full stop and like steve says damned heavy, you need a neck the size of your biceps MB

i agree it does look heavy but its not had one on trial for 6 weeks now its only marginaly

heavier than the vertex but sits better on the head comes with extra ear muffs for chipping.only thing i can fault was the pull down eye protection they got scratched really quick and i have not found out if i can change them yet.on hte whole its pretty good the gap at the ear muffs bothered me to but it seems to be fine nothing penetrated as yet. :thumbup1:
