16 inch bar on a stihl ms461

The bar will fit, no problem - but run it with an 8-pin if it is 3/8".

If it is a .325 bar, run it with a 9-pin (a smaller one won't fit on the 461 clutch drum).

The dl count of the chain may turn out to be an issue, you likely will need an extra dl with .325x9.

Different sizes .325 on 261 and 3/8 on 441. Why not just go for 660?

It isn't that unusual to run 3/8" on 50cc saws, so you don't really know that. See my post above though....

My 441 normally sports 25"

But at moment shes on 16"......

I also run the 064 on 16" too

I had the 16inch bar from my 390 on mine for a couple of hours as the 390 had borrrowed the 461s 18 inch, id stick with the 18 as the 16 felt no quicker.
