Small van recommendation / insurance

Rather than looking at vans look at the likes of the Berlingo or Ford connect people carriers. The seats in the back can completely fold down so you'll have a van sized boot. Having a people carrier rather than a van will decrease the insurance big time.

Seems in my situation not - cheapest I could find insurance wise for a people carrier was £1700, cheapest for a van style was £700 - probably makes a big difference being a newly qualified driver..

Thats weird, it was about 500 cheaper for me to have a people carrier. But much prefer my van haha

The 2l Dispatch/Expert etc. can tow 2t might just be the higher powered diesel rather than the lower (110 and 130 hp I think) but if you're towing a lot then certainly a decent load to tow.

I had my Escort van insured with Autonet I found them to be spot on to deal with and they were cheap enough
