Hi Guys, hoping someone in or around Formby can help me out with a few pieces of Lime that they may be willing to donate to a group of pensioners that are starting a whittle and carve group with the U3a. Unfortunately the few pieces I had are too sodden and mouldy to be of any use.

Please pm me if you can help, many thanks in anticipation.

Gotta few bits down at the farm, just off the M6 Jct 25 M6 Mac

Great Pete, Can you pm me when would be good to call in. Rob looks like he might also have some so if you can both spare a few bits be really appreciated.

Rob, anything really would be great as long as I can get it in my Transit Connect. It's for a friend who is a fellow beekeeper and has joined the U3a he asked me for some bits for them to start off .I have some Apple, Pear, Damson and Tullip that I was going to use on my lathe and have sorted some for them. That said they seem really keen and rightly so on Lime as its a carvers dream. The few bits I had are really only food for the fire now, mouldy wet and too many splits.

I can always block it for them if you have any you can spare.

Many thanks
