oh and don't they have the part numbers stamped on them? most stihl parts do!

 

They may well do but unfortunately I'm in london and the saw is in shropshire, I'll check next time I'm back unless someone else gets in first with the numbers. theres a few bits you need as its the numbers either side, the roller chain catcher and the fixings.

 

does look mean though

 

any body know about that wrap handle?

Spikes/Dawgs are the same fit for all stihl professional saws. So that should be easy. You also find them all over EBay in the US affordably. The spike for the 361 is the same for the dual spike 362R kit. Lots of fire crews for mountain work keep 60cc saws as they are easier to climb with, and most trees they meet will be pine and easily cut with a 20-24" bar on a 60cc saw.

 

Once you port that 461R, it should perform similarly to this - my ported 77cc(big bore kit) Jonsered 2165 - same wood as previous video:

thanks guys that's great wasn't sure if they were all the same fitment, don't think I'll be porting mine I'm happy with the power and reliability is more important to me, just ordered my sugihara 20" from chainsaw bars will call the dealer Monday about bumpers ect

For a Stihl 046/MS460:

 

Inner spike 1122 664 0506

Outer spike 1128 664 0501

Hexagon head screw (M5x12) 9008 319 0960 (you need two of these)

Lock nut (M5) 9214 320 0700 (you need two of these)

Roller chain catcher 1122 650 7700

 

I just bought a set from the US, very pleased :)

hey sorry no, my brother had a mtb accident in inverness so I had to drive up and get him, not had a chance to do much else, got one of cutting a couple of small logs but that doesn't show you much tbh
