these jackets seem to get good reviews, i was just wondering how the sleeve cuffs where when descending a really wet rope? ie does it all pour down your sleeve thus bypassing the incredably waterproof exterior.

hope that makes sense.

thanks carl

Gotta say that and a lack of hood are my drawbacks on an otherwise excellent jacket. Velcro cuffs and a hood that stows in the collar would give it top marks in my opinion.

Awesome jacket, not a fan of hoods so it's not a problem. Very hard wearing. I have had mine for 2 years nearly now and it's only problem was the side zip broke but was easy fixed.

ok thanks, weather here lately seems to have upped its game big time so feel the need to get better gear.

i dont find hoods that great with helmets so not too bothered about that.

so worth the money then??

ive never spent this much on a jacket... then again never been totally dry either!

Mines a couple or 3 years old now and is still waterproof, yes,a little gets under the cuffs but its still the best work jacket ive owned.

Do you have the original version? I had that one and lost it....really annoyed about that!
