hi jon, three days of the week full of welding gear, not a great amount of weight, rest of the week logs, greedy boards on the inside of the back door to stop logs falling out.

without looking I think there 265/75/17 perhaps a bit bigger, but not going outside to look!

£100 per tyre balanced and fitted and old tyre disposed of.

HI TCD THANKS for that mate im told kumho kl71 are a good tyres mate thanks were did you get your hankook and price thanks jon

Yeah had the Kumhos as well mate; no comparison to the hankooks off road but did wear well despite being awful on damp/wet tarmac - underwear soiling bad they were. Victor Barry got mine but Ashburton Tyres very cheap; just under £450 for 4 fitted inc I think. I think camskill do them online.

Hankook Tyres / SUV 4x4 / Hankook RT03 Dynapro MT Hankook RT 03 - SUV Tyres - 4x4 Tyres - All Terrain Tyres - Off Road Tyres - 16" R16" - 225/75/16, 225/75R16

but that's the 225s, wide enough on an L200, could go 1 or possibly even 2 wider to 245 but cutting ability reduced and more wear...

Ye we have a set on our 130 defender , we have had them at least 3 years still plenty of tread left, we have had the truck fully loaded and they have taken the weight no probs. Would buy another set tomorow, we bought them on the rims already ballanced for about 110 pounds a corner plus vat. Best value thing iv ever bought.

When you say no comparison to the hankooks off road, where the hankooks better or worse than the kumhos?

Been looking at the hankooks for my pickup myself, I run them on my lorry with no problem, and see them fitted on new bmw`s as well (car tyres).

Sorry, the hankooks are better; enough bite to put the transmision under stress whereas the kumho would spin much sooner. Wet grass less in it but deep mud the hankooks are hardcore :thumbup1: Kumho mileage very respectable; hankkok tba but looking equal. Not too noisy either.
