howmuch have u paid for a chain

Snapped a chain on a job other, didnt have a spare so popped along to the local garden machinery/chainsaw dealership, asked for 15inch 3/8 oregon chain plus 2 files for climbing saw,...... £27. chain was £23.......£10 more than usual pretty steep.

 

asked about 25litres of chain oil, retail price was £72 he said they sell it for £50. told him i get it for 27+vat, he checked his price into shop £22.50 a barrel, maybe i could do it for 27+vat he says,

 

 

pays to shop around and keep well stocked up

i have just bought chains off of jonesie, best price by far and at my front door the next day:001_cool:
