tree work rained off/milling we go!

hi ,all my tree work has been rained off due to rivers bursting the banks,so spent three days milling, got every butt done! loads of sequoia,yew,and a lovely walnut. will post the walnut first,this tree wasnt 300yrd from my yard and got it for nothing in exchange for removing it, the main but is still there as my 088 decided to give up, but the branch wood is stunning!

Hope you didn't ring up all of that walnut! Worth a bit that size for shotgun socks!

was a bit of a drag,but arb trolley came up trumps, couldnt believe it when hit concrete 30ft up? bummer,just sharpened the 066 up as well,

so here is just the branch wood milled,two main sections of trunk and root left,as ground too wet.

now we also got milled the 26 ton of sequoia and some random yew butts, this would usually have taken me months but the rain has helped me sort it out, took four of us using a lucas mill,and a woodmizer lt40(now working a treat!)three days.

some other random pics,,,load of birch waiting to be made into bird boxes, kiwi,splitting logs on the riko av11 ,bit of seuioa being milled into 2" planks for picnic benches, and my trip home through the floods.

What was wrong with your lt40 in the end. I like the look of the Lucas I think we may be better off with one like that for our application as we can breakdown the larger stuff and selling our mizer.
