Alaska

Looking at maybe heading to Alaska for a week or so as part of our next US trip. Mainly fairbanks and mainly for the Aurora. Anybody been?

Yeah its a pretty awesome place, when we went we hired a camper and travelled around. The amount of times we saw bear crossing the road was unreal. People are friendly and the weather in summer is really nice. Cant beat it!

Thanks for the heads up. We won't be going in summer so activities will be limited. Looking mid to end of March so still reasonably cold. I'll track Rupe down and see if he can give me some info.
