Timberwolf 150 jamming

Hi, I've a Timberwolf 150 (2001 year). When chipping, I'm finding the rollers stop whilst pulling the wood through. Reverse the wood back out and send it back in and it chips no problem. (It may be a little slower than usual when chipping also, hard to tell. I've recently serviced the machine including new hydraulic oil. Really need some help as it's most irritating!. Thank you :)

this happened mine once and turned out to be dirt in fuel tank. engine was acheiving full revs under no load but dying back only slightly too much when feeding wood. may not be your problem but worth eliminating first. also check drive belts are tight enough

It does it with short pieces of wood so not catching any switches. Also, I've only recently flushed the fuel tank and put in fresh fuel (the engine runs really well). It does seem to be a problem with the feed itself. I was told by someone the hydraulic system could be a cause (no idea how to check this). I've checked the rev lever, it is all the way down and still does it, even on thin pieces of wood. Appreciating the help btw, thankyou...

Update - Removed the hydraulic hoses at their lowest points and drained the oil in that had been pumped to the rollers. Topped up the oil with new so it filled the hoses. And it now works! Air or dirt maybe? Not 100% on what I've done but it seems to have sorted it, rollers pull stronger than ever...
