Well my first ever chainsaw arrived today; freshly delivered by the F R Jones enterprise.

Trouble is, getting the bleedin' crappy computer to work has taken the whole day up. But I did manage to give myself 5 mins to try on the Stein Freddy Krieger trousers (very comfy) and break open the Husky box.

But unfortuntely, overall, the final score for today is:

Windows XP, one..... Husky 550xpg, nil

Power cut?:blushing:

Nice saw wish I had 1

My first plan was to get something second hand and then noticed how high priced they tend to go for + the risk of buying a bad saw put me off.

I did phone a bloke up who sells loads of used saws on the bay, but his cocky attitude really put me off (thats his loss).

I think it's worth saving the extra and getting a spanky new one with a warranty.

If you're skint just keep using the Silky for longer and keep saving over a longer period.... thats what I did.

Actually, it amazes me how much work I've got done with the Silky. Gonna keep using it to save on fuel, and noise.
