A question fellas.

What fuel mix are you using(ratio)for larger saws?

I've always ran my smaller saws T540,ms250,260 at 45/1.

I've also believed that it's best to have a little more oil in the mix for the machine.

A little smoke doesn't matter, oil in the engine.

Thoughts guys

And Spuds advice on the oil being the deciding factor has worked for me. I have a hedgetrimmer which stated 25:1 in the manual. It smoked like a kipper before I changed to 50:1 and has been running fine for over a year now. Saves a lot of hassle mixing as well.
