just thought I would ask if someone knows if I buy a new 560 off someone who has never used it.would I still have the two year warranty on the saw or would it be the person who bought the the saw.that would have the warranty in there name

Would of thought the warranty is on the saw bud.

Husky most proberly do the same as stihl where all details etc get put on to a data base. So dealers can see the date bought serial number etc

I would think the warranty is on the saw but you'll need the original purchase receipt to get a dealer to do any work to it

I have just registered mine on the Husqvarna web site.

 

Product registration - Customer support | Husqvarna

 

You need to enter your name and address, saw product number (966 00-90-00 for mine)

 

Also the serial number.

 

They want to know when and where it was purchased.

 

If you do all that, and the saw has not been registered before, I would think you would be OK.

 

If the saw has been registered before, it may be a problem, if so I would phone up customer support and explain your situation.
