I have now got an old yard tractor with a loader and going to start storing and delivering in vented bags rarher than loose, what sizes do you find easier working with. going to be pulling them off the back of my pickup, how much are you charging for hardwood and mixed bags?

0.7 cubic metre just about moveable on smooth surface. 1 cu metre big heavy and you get under cut by the fly by nights. 0.5 cubic metre too small, look small not worth filling.

I've gone for 0.75m3. Old tractor lifts then no bother from trailer to stack 2 up. I fill then two at a time from where I'm splitting then stack. Look good size for customers and selling for £95 + vat.

Lots of softwood around going out for £65 a dumpy bag (0.7m3). Not much hardwood in the plantation covered west so it's hardwood a premium product and I'm priced the same as my competition but mine seasoned for 2 years not one.
