I think ill have about £300 to spend is that going to be enough or is it worth getting a bit more together. Also Consider ive only been doing this for 6months-ish?

Any mid 50cc saw with a 15"bar and chain will do you bud. Weather its a stihl husky or other brands. Your'll also be looking at around £550.

Save up a bit more and buy the right saw for you first time

Personally I'd save up for new, you get an up to date model with warranty, you can still end up with a Friday special second hand

you can get a 550 xp for under £500,but you will need a spare chain & a box of files

You might look at the Husky 545. It should be somewhat cheaper than the 550. I have the Jonsered version and it seems to have similar power to my 346.
