I get the point. Talking from someone who wore glasses at an early age and has had to go back to wearing them in the last eight years. I have always had a problem judging exact focal points/point of contact.

So whereas I can fairly accurately say that something is a certain number of yards or tens of hundreds of yards distant. I have difficulty pouring liquid into a glass from a bottle at arm's length. I find it ok if the two touch but I'm not sure that the liquid will actual be in the glass, until it begins to flow. Anther example , is that I'm a good table tennis player. But am useless at tennis, badminton or cricket. As I can't judge where the racket/bat will contact the projectile. Golf isn't so bad, as the ball waits to be hit. Though I have an incurable slice. By the way, apart from table tennis, I can't stand any if the aforementioned.

I have trouble judging how far away the washing line is. My wife laughs at me as I grope in mid air as I walk forwards till I catch the line. I have blurred vision in my left eye as a result of German measles causing nerve damage but my right eye makes up for it although I am getting some longer arms to help with the problem I now have.
