20 ft poles go for about £10 each. Next time you are driving past some blokes replacing poles just pull up and ask to buy for cash, many won't, but a few will and some will drill and drop them in place for you - which makes life a whole lot easier.:thumbup1:

Just as an aside, I put in a planning application once to build some stables, one of the questions on the form was "what colour will the finish be", now this was a timber structure in the country so I put "green roof with brown sides, front and rear" thinking the most neutral colours for a countryside building, they wrote back and said "you can only have green"!!!.

I would not use that roofing, use box profile or fibre cement

No building regs

But might need planning

 

Agreed Onduline is crap lasts maybe 3yrs in harsh conditions, looking at rebuilding my barn this year and looking for cheap galv tin or box wouldnt even contemplate onduline!!!
