If this device was built to accommodate both the bollard at the top and the winch under neath, surely you can lift and dynamic load all at the same time and the bollard protects the winch ?.

 

The bollard takes the main forces in the first wrap and the winch can be used for all situations ?.

I don't think you should be loading both together!!! The way it's set in the picture looks to be correct then after you have used and got the tension you need from the winch then the wraps are removed from the winch and put solely to the bollard!!

I dont see why you would need to use both? And im sure you cant? The winch can handle it all lifting and lowering. Im sure 90% of GRCS owners only ever use the winch system.

is there new double plate adam? the one in the pic looks just like the regular grcs except both have been put in instead of one.

as far as i can see mr th , your setup is incorrect.

could be wrong but i have not heard of the new double plate.
