If you're going to use it day-in-day-out and mainly for felling, get the 365 and ringing. If you're after an occasional saw, get the 545. The 555 will be good for ringing-up and felling but won't comfortably haul the bigger bars of the 365.

Would it be better to invest in a 545 for now get used to that, and then once I have more experience buy a second saw that can take the much bigger bars, as for now itll be used a couple of days a week at the most if not twice every other week.

The xp saws dont seem to offer much more other than rev boost for the extra £50 or so compared to the non xp versions are they really worth that extra bump?

You can't get a heated handle with the 545. So if you intend using it on really cold days, not only will you comfort level decrease. But cold hands are more susceptible to vibration damage, (white finger).

If you're going to be doing lots if snedding, the 'RevBoost' will help with that. If you intend to use the saw on a commercial basis, get the XP. Having said that, I was felling 60'-80' conifers with a 545 and the saw didn't miss a beat.
