ATV's and Quads

Just a quick one, does any one have any pics of sign written quads as thinking of getting the new one done.

Wow! a million miles away from my world. I can just about afford to keep a defender and chipper on the road.

 

i have done a couple of days work this month with the quad, it has paid the rent and the bills in a matter of days, but the work is very few and far between as especially increasing, i am having to be competative against 200hp tractors with big machinery, just try to specialise enough so i have been seeding grass into areas where trees have already been planted so the tractors cant do it, best bit is that when i've finished my seed bed is a lot better than the tractors can manage I will hopefully get asked back to help flail between the trees and also some spraying of docks that are coming up, so i really hope it does generate a good few more days work. But my battered old 250honda isnt giving a good impression and if the work is picking up its not going to hold out for many more days work, hence this thread

dont know where you would sign write it? not many panels on it, only ones i have seen with any writing have been Police and Rescue services

I know what your saying the lack of space made me wonder what it would look like, picture makes me think I should have blue flashing lights on it just incase I need to get to a tight job in a hurry lol.

i should have had a beacon on the bike for the work i have been doing recently as its a construction site, but really if im going to get hit by a digger im not sure a beacon will help, Also had to wear my helmet all day long

What helmet do you wear wen using the quad Charlieh?

Are you running dual batteries charlie? as the motorised rotating beacons suck a lot of power quickly, as do most accessories on the quads.

i have an old open faced helmet but im going to change it as im sure its probably no longer up to spec'

 

in terms of batteries im running a landrover battery mounted in the front ammo create, i will run the seeding unit for two days before needing a recharge
