Hi

Does anybody know of any companies you would contact to put in for work on canals, rivers etc

Pm please

Many thanks

Last time I checked fountains maintain all 2200 miles of canal for c a r t (canal and rivers trust), might be worth giving them a ring for any subby work.

I used to do tree work for British waterways in London, a bit of a nightmare to deal with to be fair. EA who look after the Thames and rivers are much easier to deal with.

I always found them sound, but I suppose it depends who the contract manager was.

British Waterways

Scottish Canals

Land and Water

Fountains

Ground Control

Land and Water are a very good company but i think its all in-house for them. Keep an eye on the public tendering websites for inland waterways tenders.
