Awesome ATV (articulated tracked vehicle) setup with winch, couldn't believe it was the sole pulling power on this smart recovery. Great use of the tiltrotator with integral grab on the mini. :thumbup1:

Now that "toy" is the massive Mutts massive nuts!

Why dig they not hitch the strop to the bucket, puling the digger round on the slew ring if necessary with the winch.

seems a poor arrangment hitching to the side of the boom?

Thought of that as well, and my guess was that the machine had sunken down too deep on the cab side to allow a smooth, unhindered slew through 90 degrees without causing potential damage to side panels on the back end, or the cab (pending direction of slew). There may even have been stumps on the sunken side of the machine, which would have ruled slewing out point blank.

Having looked at the website, I wonder if there's anything this guy couldn't recover? About the most impressive I've seen!!

You must be talking about the volvo in deep .... That is amazing winching power.

I want that bucket and tiltrotator combination for our digger, and I want that guy to drive it. He's a bit useful on the controls. :001_smile:

Too late I have already hired him!

Amazing vid, so relaxed, can you imagine that in the UK? not a mobile phone in site.
