Looks like it needs the big D009 type mount for the studs, what's the diameter of the clutch drum and crankshaft pto side where it enters the bearing for the sprocket

i will strip the sprocket off in the morning and get the sizes inc pics etc

PS i maybe able to remove chase the old sprocket of the drum in my friends lathe and retro fit a more common size sprocket back into place not sure if its been done though before but i can true everything up in the lathe tack weld it up to keep it true then fully weld up from the inside providing i can get a sprocket with the right ID for the bearing just an idea floating round in my head atm

If you're going to do that, why not go with a rim sprocket set-up?

D009 is the standard bar mount for the big Husqvarnas. If you can find someone nearby with a 3120, 395, 390 etc you should be able to check which bits fit. I suspect some holes may be needed, but it could be as simple as widening out the tensioning stud hole and drilling a new oil hole.

Hard to tell on the clutch drum but 94mm OD is big. I've had a quick look and the 090 is 100mm, the 070 is 80mm. 3120 is around 87mm. Once you've got yours off it's worth re-measuring to see if the Husky one is actually a fit.

on the earlier rex the clutch is on a splined cramkshaft model no 600010

on the later rex the clutch is on a left hand thread model 60104

this is what it is on our two saws and also some models have automatic and hand oiler there are three ways to check this an adjuster screw by the petrol cap and air line from half way up the cylinder block running to the oil tank or after you have used the saw if you unscrew the oil cap you should get a rush of air come out
