They can't be that good, they stopped making them in 2011.

Stihl 325RS looks pretty similar. Did you have to return the Windsor?

Blount bought Windsor nearly 15 years ago. They and Oregon have been under the same roof since(Blount bought Oregon out in the 90's). Blount have been rebranding, repackaging, and shuffling products between brands for some time now. That Windsor chain looks an awful lot like Carlton, whom Blount also have owned since 2008. Oregon started back in 1947 - Windsor in 1948.

Yes I did return it, the quality of the Oregon looks much better than the Windsor, better rivets, better links, oil holes in the drive links.

Having had a close look, do Oregon make the Husqvarna chains.

They look very similar, or am I missing something?

Oregon make a few things for Husqvarna - chains, bars, sprockets, screnches, etc. Oregon have been supplying chain to Swedish manufacturers on and off since the 60's.

Used to supply stihl too, many old posters refer to the 'superior Oregon chain'

They still do, but I have read somewhere that Husky is setting up their own chain factory.

We will see what the future brings, I am not holding my breath.....
