Husqvarna chainsaw spark plug!

Hi all,

I've been using a really old husqy chainsaw (which i bought for £24 ), there are no model numbers on it at all, but from what i've seen off the tinternet I think its a 162. I've been trying to set it up properly, but i've found the spark plug's insultation has broken so it covers the gap. It looks as if the electrode has burnt alittle, does anyone know the correct spark plug which should be in the chainsaw? It currently has a NGK BM6A.

Here's a pic of the saw with my stihl. Any help would be appreciated!

Affraid not, its an MS 240! (money was a bit tight when I had to decide which stihl to go for!), stihl a brilliant saw....

all 262.268.272 huskys use a BPMR7A plug

Give it a birthday with a new fuel pick up filter and see how she runs.

As Mr Cork said above NGK BPMR7A is the correct plug.
