Hi everyone hope you all had a great Xmas,

Well this morning I desided saw up a big ash trunk with my 051, half way through my fourth ring lots of bad noise and it spat the ring sprocket out, it didn't hit me this part was embedded in the bark. But I'm glad I was wearing my helmet & visor, it could of caused serous injury.

Anyway is it posable to remove clutch and housing without the special tool, as I ain't got one. I also need to buy a replacement 7 tooth ring sprocket .404 I've seen them on the internet but they are in USA.

Regards Rich

I have some used .404 rim sprockets somewhere . They will be from Husky 3120 and 395 . Can send you them if you want . Not hard to come by in this country though . Try Rob D

Your local dealer should have parts for your saw, the clutch removal tool cost me a huge £3 from my local dealer

Thanks very much for your offer but since posting this I've order one from the USA and in the short time after ordering I located them for sale at L&S engineering. Well we learn by our hasty mistakes
