You loading them in the cut or just letting the weight do the work?

Secondly, are they all on the same size sprocket? More teeth is a faster chain!

And you want to categorise the saws, as an ms660 will beat everything in a big log, but thin stuff will let the smaller saws do their stuff, with the 242 blitzing really thin stuff

all standard.7 pin,none pimped.its more about the smaller saws as yes the big ones do a different job.my winner will be what copes fully buried,also its only poplar so not the sternest of tests admittedly

So really it's between the 550xp, 5105 and the echo 550, don't need a 261 as that would be last anyway... It'll be interesting with the outcome, might be worth slapping the 15" bar off the 560 on the 550xp

would make a level playing field I suppose! I have a couple of 260's but like you say don't even go there!
