Any stihl chain I find that fits is 1.6mm whereas mine is 1.5mm does it fit?

1.6 won't . It will jam in your bar . Stihl do make 1.5 chains for other make saws . Just get an Oregon . Rob D of " chainswabars " on here , or Justin from " Jonsies " will sort you ...

I prefer to use Stihl chains on all my Husky's , you can get them no problem on ebay or from Rob on here . I feel they last longer and take a better edge than oregon or husky chains , IMO only .

Give this outfit a try.

Good helpful service and free delivery to Northern Ireland, most of the others quoting "free UK delivery" are actually mainland only.

Yes it would take and pull a 24" bar but it would be on the limit of max bar length and you wouldn't want to go any longer without suffering a drop in performance. If you handle most of what you cut with an 18 or 20" bar I would try to stick in that region.
