Does any one run a 660 on a 42" bar

I run one with a 30" bar and it runs that with ease

Sometimes I need something bigger

I have a husky 3120 but only with a 30" bar

The price for a new bar for the husky is to much but can pick up a 42" one for the stihl for under £100 with chain

The stihl the better saw to use as the husky is a bit of a beast

HI MATE hows a 660 going to RUN a 42" bar in hard on a skip chain and ported by steve or pete may but not far on the saw is were can you get a 42" stihl bar and skip chain £100 new from can you let no as i will buy some up. get a 880 if your doing alot of hard wood cutting mate thanks jon

As said before - keep the 30" on the 600 and put a longer bar on the 3120 - no ifs buts or maybes about it!

I have 40" bar at £145-00+vat or 46" at £185-00+vat for 3120 - Sugihara and they don't flop about like other long bars can do...

Guide bars

I have sold a few 42" bars to go on 660s - but only where it is that persons only chainsaw.... get a long bar for the 3120...
