Cost of a respray?

Does anyone have a rough idea of what it might cost to get a L200 resprayed?

Its currently red and in fair condition, I was thinking of getting it sprayed bright green then sign written. Do you reckon it would be over £1k?

I have a movano twin cab tipper and a friend runs a spray shop. I asked how much to get it sprayed if I done the prep work and he wanted £1400 at m8's rates to supply the paint and spray it

also look at wrapping it much cheaper and you can do it your self if your semi good at that sort of thing

A grand will cover the job BUT agree the specification in writing in advance.

 

If they don't do the door reveals it will look pants.

 

For that budget I would expect them to de glaze most of it rather than masking

I've had 3 trucks sprayed all of them cost around 1k I've just had my fourth wrapped and regret ever glint to the sprey shop. It's much more durable, easy to repair, cheaper then sprey, graphics can be brined directly to it, if you want to sell it just peels off, no flacking paint, you don't need to inform dvla of change of colour, no brainier as far as I see it....

I googled "vehicle wrapping" basically because I didn't know what you blokes were talking about and im really impressed with the results, one drawback was that the firm I looked at said the wrapping only lasts around 5 years

There is spray on plastic stuff as well. Cheaper then rap, peels off like rap and a bit tougher. Looking to have my disco done with it. Oh and more colour choice. Can't remember the name of the product unfortunately.

Wrapping is good, particularly for new vehicles all of Stobarts trucks are wrapped
