ok,here goes,i currently have a husky 365,2011 model, not xtorq, thing is,saw runs great in normal weather but as soon as its pretty wet it dies out and runs poorly until you loosen the petrol cap and put it back on again, seems to draw water into the carb a little too, tried changing the diaphrams but has made little difference, might be a breather problem but doesn't appear to be,plug and filters all good, anyone any ideas??

sounds like a blocked or partially blocked fuel tank breather/vent to me!

Because it seals better, in a nutshell, the carb pulls the fuel from the tank causing a vacuum. And just so you know, the breather is the little brass thing by the pipes, on the 362/365/372/385/390 and so on, they get caked in shite so fast and need blowing out after each use with an airline

Is it icing up? Is there a flap you can open to draw warm air into the carb? Is it that the time it takes to unscrew the fuel cap is long enough to thaw it out? Just a thought:thumbup1:
