Rod, the fence is about 300 metres long so piling brash would be quite hard work,

 

I didn't realise but I posted about this barbed wire before when I found a tawny owl hung up on it, you can see from the photo how rediculous it is but without realising it I have some ammunition already with these pics

 

The fence is also stapled to trees all the way up the boundary which is why it was to come down.

It is your land, YOU know that & that he has acted illegally some ware along the line to get title if indeed he dose have the title, it is your delay to now that has left you in this situation.

rally a few boys together, wait untill he's out, and move the whole fence back to the proper boundary! dont forget to heel in the old post holes.

Dean, BTCV might help as far as i know it depends on what animals your trying to keep back, usually its one on the top and just normal wire for the rest but i have see one at the bottom before but not less than 30cm from bottom. I think spacing should be every 30cm anyway, hope it helps
