560xp .325 or 3/8 pitch?

I was under the impression that the 2260 had the small bar mount, same as the 560, K095, whilst the 562 had the D009 mount

Oh, the bar studs are different. It is small mount.

A little more than that is different, like the bar mount pad - the oil output is differently located because the small mount bars have a slimmer tail.

 

The 562 usually comes with a standard 7-spline drum (that fits 3/8x7, 3/8x8 and .325x9), while the 560 and 2260 usually comes with a small 7-spline drum (that fits .325x7, .325x8 and 3/8x7 (a different 3/8x7)).

Both drums fit on all models though, and both are listed in the IPLs. :001_smile:

 

Also, the air filter and cover is larger and higher on the 562, but that's another story....

Well that explains all the different bar types. And here I thought they were only being difficult...

No, and Tbf why would you want one? The mounts are for bars over 20" and the saw would need skip chains or you'd take a week to cut a log

 

 

I agree there is no need for the 562 with the extra weight and larger air filter, but I don't agree with the rest of your post.....
