Best way to slow these people up is show interest but make sure your not open to virus etc. Say the right nieve things get them on the hook and excited then after they have put a lot of time in drop them. The more people waste their time the less they are likely to bother and less people they rip off. If buyers play them along the more likely they are to drop a clanger that ebay or the police can trace.

Things like this are like a cancerous diease to ebay. The more of these are publicised the more ebay should worry.

 

I, for one, tend not to look on ebay for stuff any more. The cheap stuff is usually cheap for a reason and the decent stuff goes for stupid money.

 

As many have said on this forum, sell your old kit on ebay and get stupidly good money for it. Replace with new and ENJOY!

 

No doubt the ebay juggernaught will eventually shore up some of these scams - till then don't pay till youve seen it.
