Card Payment. How do you take yours?

Does PayPal refund the customer at the drop of a hat like they do on eBay or do they use a tiny bit of common sense if you have a terminal.

We had a stream line terminal from Santander until they took £2600 from our customer and it got lost in the universe and apparently it was our hard luck as we did not notice for 6 weeks. After some very rude words we got the money and a box of flowers.

Let's hope it's a bit more sensible than Ebaypal.

I use world pay gprs unit. The main benefit I find with these types of unit is that you can take payment over the phone. I don't think you can with any of the ones you use with your phone.

It's a important feature especially if you deliver where there isn't a phone signal

 

I pay £22+vat a month for the terminal. 1.2% for credit. 16p for debit.

 

I also think they look more professional
