Agreed. You don't want to price yourself off of the maintenance contract. It seems that they phoned you first because they trust you. Most of these opinions/formula's offered in this thread are fair. Pick one and go for it:-)

I cant believe some of the figures stated in this thread! Good on you if you can get it.

 

Going back to the original posters question, I would simply charge £100 call out and double your hourly rate - £180 would be the figure i'd put in (+vat). For two people (in the OP's post it was only one) I would charge £260. I'd be more than happy with that in my pocket for two hours work one evening - as would my groundie!

 

Make it safe and go back when its light would be my approach?

this was the only way in or out of the site as the cleaners had parked in front of the only other exit.

 

 

Surely it's easier to move the cleaners' vehicles. If they complain afterwards, say what do they expect for parking across an exit?
