Anyone else have problems with this phone.

It seems to be eating memory so no updates/apps etc will download onto it.

2 weeks old and it's become necessary to phone tech support. No help. Seems to be an issue with this phone. I should have bought an i phone.

I got the XP and it works well enough although it has frozen a couple times restarted itself.

 

Buggered if I can find a good case for it mind - every rack is iphone or samsung!

I have the Experia GO which has been pretty good in standing up to the rigours of forestry, although I did fry my first one trying to charge it with wires connected straight to a car battery. My avatar name is not wholy inappropriate!

Being a Sony it does sound great with a good pair of phones.

I gotta Xperia Z cos I'm a clumsy bastard who needs a waterproof phone and I had a few teething problems switching from iphone 2 android. The main issue I faced was that unlike the iphone the phone doesn't really come out the box ready for universal use. You have'ta go into individual settings to make sure that their isn't bloat ware (namely from the contractor) sucking up power and memory in the background.

I got an Xperia Z a few weeks ago as I needed a waterproof phone. The screen has now cracked on its own (aparently its a design fault that Sony wont admit to) and it will cost over £200 to replace the screen! Its not covered by warranty as they class a cracked screen as "physical damage". Aparently they crack due to the phone getting hot during use, there are alot of cases on the internet about this happening but basically its tough s*it, you have to pay to get it fixed! Im reluctant to do this incase it breaks again so my advice to anyone looking to get an Xperia Z is DONT!!!!!

OK so it's not that widespread.

They restored factory settings today and it seems to be behaving itself for the now. I've just got so far behind in smart phone techno. feeling like a Luddite. It's a bit much for a 4week old phone though.
