Thanks for the heads up Eddie, I am looking at a couple of the Sany 3.5 tonners. The sales team seem to be up to speed and are looking into some hydraulic mods for me.

Bob

I was quite surprised at the spec of the small model on paper and have been watching with interest.

It really seems to be just like a TB016 Takeuchi in terms of the expanding undercarriage, decent reach and generally straightforward build.

They say it has very good ground clearance which is a bonus for a lot of guys here, and the general rumblings seem it's surprised most who've had a try.

As I said before Sany will almost certainly progress at least as fast as Doosan/Hyundai but who knows these first machines don't look far off the mark from the crate?

It'll take a few years to put some residual against them, as that only really comes with a solid reputation.

Looks like I will get to cast an eye at Plantworx.:thumbup1:

Eddie.

I had a go on a sany sy215 and I have been pretty impressed with them I watched the driver who had it rip up a pile of stumps in Stirling and it had plenty of power they are fairly basic in the cab performance is equal to the best on the market but without the associated price tag I do like liebherr as they are well built machines but if I was to spend my cash I would go for sany .the 35t I was really impressed with it comes with a really heavy duty undercarriage as standard the track frame is well beefy far heavier in construction than the equivalent 934 (that suffered from fractures)

Can someone remind me of the deal on these Sanys. Thanks. I want a 1.6tonner but lack of local dealership would put me off these a bit I think.

the main depot is in Barnsley all the engineers are home based all over the country so it really doesn't matter how far you are away. have a look on their Facebook page for the deal
