How much should i charge

Hi All, As in my other thread just bought a new pick up truck ford ranger thunder, I will post some pics when its deliverd and have the bull bars fitted. Just a thought how much should i charge for a load of logs say up to top of main truck ? mine has the extra back on so will keep em all dry. By the way am up against the £65 a builders bag brigade so have to be competative but im not giving my logs away to much hard work for that, As people who sell at the right price and quality will know.cheers karl:001_smile:

Totally down to you mate, only you know how much a load has cost you to process and how much profit you want to make, check out the local competition to give yourself an idea of the going rate.

Im £45 a builders bag, but I run an escort van currently and let the customer collect mainly!

Its a supply and demand game like world grain prices but on a village scale. I only keep my gear going and get a days pay out of it. I don't buy in wood. It gives me work when im slack, and what I enjoy about doing firewood. You just get on with it without everyone else interfering i.e no people to deal with. Bliss!

 

No probs with the bull bars each to there own. My vans capability is limited. One day soon I am probably going to have to uprate my cargo capability.
