Hi all , Just bought myself a new pick up, deliberated long and hard over what to get L200, Navara, Izuzu, Hilux so on so on. It had to be multi purposeful vehical. Milage and fuel economy was a major issue with all of them. Scanned the internet for 3 days Ebay, Autotrader bloody nightmare. As it happens my misses goes shopping 5 miles down the road and low and behold theres a truck Ford Ranger 50000 miles got it for £9000 bargain. And i love it .just goes to show internet aint be all and end all.

Any one got a Ranger ? mines a 58 plate thunder ?

I have an 09 and don't really like it

I suppose it depends what you are using it for, as a tow motor it's useless imo, but as a run about to pick up and drop off bits and pieces it's fine, also quite nice to use on long drives as it's fairly comfortable.

I would have a tranny tipper over the ranger any day but need 4wd to access sites. Mine is not particularly comfy it does my back in after about an hrs driving but like you say for plodding around they are fine.
